Cotton fabric based laminate
Fine weave cotton/phenolic resin laminated plastic
(SRBF – Synthetic Resin Bonded Fabric)
|
A fine weave grade for mechanical and electromechanical applications.
Carp Brand TUFNOL is a good quality fine weave grade for mechanical and electromechanical applications. It has good mechanical strength and wear resistance, with good electrical properties for this class of material. Machining characrteristics are good but do not match those of Carp Brand TUFNOL. A budget priced grade for applications which need a fine weave. |
|
What is Lynx Brand used for?
his grade is used where the benefits of a fine weave are needed at a very economical price. Typical uses include small machined pars such as thrust washers, gears, rotor blades and spacers. |
